A knight is a title bestowed by a head of state or the head of the church, they are not given to common soldiers whether they are elite or not, and yes the lines are kind of blurred in this donghua but basically unless the head of state taps or do a ceremony for each and one of those 10,000s soldiers no lol

It's just me or you guys also think since you @Dase already read novel, that Bibi dong's so called revenge which is to kill the person that sexually assoulted her which is her own master is also includes every single male soul master who are powerful i mean her plan wasn't taking over of whole doulou continent but create certain kind of circumstances that will couse lots of death of power hungry soul masters because if you take a look of numbers of female grand soul land masters you can't even campare to male grand soulland masters and those power full soul masters use their power to do everything they want without thinking about consequence and when Bibi dong get assaulted that time in whole soul continent there were no female grand soul land master isn't. She definitely thought about it why just kill that basterd former pop whatever his name is just kill every single powerful being mainly every men. Please enlighten us🙏🙏🙏

The problem with Bibi Dong's character development is that the author chop and change things as the story progressed, so whatever the reason he had for her changed over the course of the series. She was supposed to be the main antagonist of the series yet that changed towards the end of the end of the novel, the author tried to redeem her by giving convoluted reasons for her destructive nature that didnt flow with the entire novel. She is to be the next Rakshasa God, an embodiment of evil and negative thoughts and actions, for some reason someone changed the fandom probably because they are not the same as the God of Evil in Soul Land 3.5

Her main reason is to protect Xiao Gang (Tang San's master) and to take it out on those who hurt him

“Do you think that I’m weak like you? Your family despised him,
abandoned him, didn’t you know that? What had you done for him? What you couldn’t do, I did it for Xiao Gang. Whoever dares to hurt him, disdain him, I will not spare their life. Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family didn’t exist, Xiao Gang’s sorrow would vanish. Isn’t it?”

She wanted to take revenge on the world because of what happened to her, she felt she is impure because of it

Bibi Dong’s face was full of tears, but she was smiling, “I’ve killed many people, pushing them to death. I hate this world. I want to take revenge. I want to destroy the Spirit Hall, destroy the world

Yet she didnt destroy the Spirit Hall, in fact she took it out on innocent lives

But whatever it is, I feel the fault lies with the author for writing such a big pile of cow manure the size of the moon and stinks like regurgitated vomit that is half a year old character development for Bibi Dong, just go with the flow and dont think too much about her characterisation

There are many things that occurs in my mind i mean all of them are questions regarding author's flaws in writing imbalanced cenerious like:-
1. Why Seagod island'a Seagod hall allow every kind of soul master who want to take trials to increase their soul power but Martial soul hall not, it's just plot armour or writing foult I'm not talking about every soul master but who joined martial soul hall i mean it's just Angel family property or it's just for successer of Angel god, this this is just you know doesn't feels like right thing. Every powerful soul master would definitely know about Seagod island and their trials so without taking it as a novel or donghua just think about it if you are a soul master who already reached 60+ soul power and you rar member of martial soul hall just like Hu Liena and other wouldn't this thing will come to mind since you know that soul master who went Seagod island mostly people don't return and if you look at this topic then i think Bibi dong don't need to chase and kill those century millenium soul beast to get Red Soul Rings she would definitely get those rings in that triales if they allow a non Angel family
members or an outsider
2. They introduced us three powerhouse ( Bo Sai xi, Tang Chen, Qian daou liu) but all of them will die without giving us another powerful fight i mean i understand that both (Bo Sai xi and Qian daou liu) are head flamen of their respective halls so the next successer of their God will ready to become god they have to sacrifice for them but killing Tang Chen just like that is very disappointing what do you think about it I have many other question but for now that's it🙏

ed: I think I misread your questions but anyway, here’s my so-called “supporting” explanation why Martial Soul Hall is actually not aware about SeaGod island and how its inheritance works and hence its rewards.

1.) SeaGod island does not restrict the Martial Soul Hall from coming to their island and take the test. They are generally unwelcoming to any “mainlanders” from the continent. The reason why they were so wary and defensive against Martial Soul Hall was because the latter came and attacked them. Later Qian Daoliu probably went to patch up the strained relationship and that’s where he fell for Bo Saixi. Or it could be vice versa, that QDL came back to Martial Soul Hall and told his people about the SeaGod inheritance, and they then decided to try their luck there but almost got annihilated. But I’m pretty sure those guys from Martial Soul Hall attacked first and the islanders were just defending herself. The same happened to Tang Hao and his bro where he told TS that the islanders are actually not aggressive at all unless they are provoked. The fact that the islanders never leave the island shows that they are quite low-profile about the existence of the island. In fact, had Yu Xiaogang or Tang Hao not been sent there in the past, no one on the continents would know about SeaGod island let alone the SeaGod inheritance.

2.) Yes, you’re absolutely spot on about the obsoleteness of the three powerhouses characters. They only serve as a plot armour and nothing else. If only the author would spend some effort building their character and balancing the focus of the story, it would certainly be one of the best-written Chinese fantasy novels. It has one of the most creative cultivation systems among all the Chinese wuxia/xianxia novels I’ve read, not to mention the captivating world building and characterisation of the main protagonist. If it was not for Tang San, I’d have long dropped the novel and even with my patience I have to grit my teeth to finish the remaining chapters because everything went downhill towards the end.

Yup those three were just a stepping stone for Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue and Tang San. And the plot armor is way heavier for Tang San. Let's give him red rings, but nothing for Bibi Dong or Qian Renxue, but to compensate Qian Renxue give her the full set of spirit bones BUT make her fall in love with Tang San... ugh I need to go throw up

Yes, you’re absolutely right. Pure plot armours. And yes, I edited my comment saying that I misread your question. But if you look at my answer, it’s actually an extension of the logic. You might recall, Bo Saixi has always been secretive about the SeaGod inheritance, not even the seven Sea Douluos are aware of its process and rewards. The same goes to Martial Soul Hall. It is actually split into two halls. The elders led by Qian Daoliu are the one having the higher authority, not even Bibidong is allowed to question them. They run the elder hall and they only care about the angel god inheritance and this inheritance is just as confidential as the SeaGod inheritance. The nine angel tests actually appear for the first time in the history of martial soul hall.

I have once speculated that Bibidong probably got hold of the Rakshasa god inheritance when she was in Slaughter City. The Rakshasa God is pure evil and maybe it detected some unresolved vengeance in bibidong and offered her the inheritance. Even bibidong’s inheritance was kept a secret and only Qian Daoliu knew about it. Just as Dase mentioned, every god inheritance is different and no one knows about the rewards beforehand.

Could be that Martial soul Hall only allows Angel descendants to take the trial, hence it only comes up when one of them meets the qualification.

While it is true the author is inconsistent and at times in conflict about what he is writing, the so call imbalance you mentioned is not a problem. Different organisations and different families have different rules, but how they succeed the godhood may or may not depend on the Godhood itself, for example the Food God and the Nine Coloured Goddess selected Oscar and Rongrong respectively without going through a set of trial, as long as they satisfy their requirement

While Sea God, Asura, Rakhasa and Angel have their own trials and some requires the sacrifice of the High Priest or Priestess, I dont like the word flamen, since it sounds too much like phlegm. Not many people are aware that apart from hunting spirit beasts you can also obtain God bestowed rings that varies in colours as long as they are doing the Sea God trials, again different Gods will have different trials and rewards If people of Martial Spirit wants to obtain the rings as you said that would mean they will have to leave Martial Spirit Hall and submit themselves to the Sea God Temple, and possible never to return to the mainland

I think you are overthinking too much and believes that what one organisation can do the other should be doing it the same, unfortunate the reality is, not everything is the same and fair, you just cant takes bits and pieces of the novel content and apply it throughout the novel and go there everything is fair and makes sense now, they should be able to do this and that, no it doesnt work that way, not even in the real world

the death of Tang Chen is needed as a plot device to encourage Bo Saixi to sacrifice herself without any doubt Again it is poor writing skills by the author
